작년 5월부터, 코로나 이후 오랜만의 유럽 여행을 계획하였다.

어느 국가로 갈지는 정해져 있었다. 손흥민 선수를 너무 좋아하는 엄마를 위해 영국으로.

돌이켜보면 여행하는 국가의 날씨와 그 나라 사람들의 바이브에 따라 그 곳이 좋았네 아니네 했던 것 같다.

그런 면에서 런던은  내 취향이 아니었던지라 두 번 다시 갈 일이 없을 줄 알았다.

블랙시트로 인해 환율이 많이 떨어졌을 때, 혹시 모르니까 사둘까? 하다가 말았는데. 이럴 줄 알았으면 왕창 살걸 그랬다ㅋㅋ

토트넘 경기 일정을 확인하니, 5월 중 토트넘 경기장에서 하는 경기는 5월 11일 딱 하루다.

5월 1일 근로자의 날, 5월 6일 어린이날 대체 휴일, 5월 15일 석가탄신일 등 공휴일이 많은 날이라, 1년 전인데도 비행기 좌석이 빠듯하다. 엄마를 모시고 하는 여행이니만큼 크게 욕심내지 않고, 5월 10일 ~ 5월 18일 (한국에 19일 도착)일정으로 정하였다. 

꽤 오래전 유럽 여행에서도 경유는 많이 힘들었던 기억에 대한항공 직항을 예매했다.

마침 마일리지도 있어서 각자 7만 마일리지 + 유류세 등 287,000원로 보너스 항공권을 예매할 수 있었다. 

겨울쯤에 만난 전직장 상사분이, 아들이 영국 유학 중인데, 러시아와 우크라이나 전쟁 때문에 최근에 한국을 방문하였다가 돌아가는 길에 엄청 오래 걸렸다, 는 이야기를 들었다. 

그 이야기를 듣고 얼마 후, 같은 이유에서인지 대한항공에서 스케줄 변경 안내 메일이 왔다.

도착 시간은 같은데 출발 시간은 2시간 30분이나 빨라졌다...

엄마와는 이탈리아, 스페인 등 주로 남부 유럽 중심으로 여행했기 때문에, 런던을 여행하는 김에 파리를 엮어서 여행할까 싶었는데, 엄마가 거부하였다 ㅋㅋㅋ 어디선가 파리는 로맨틱한 도시로 포장됐지만, 냄새나고, 더럽다는 소문을 들으신듯...ㅋㅋ 아닌데,,, 정말로 꽤나 로맨틱 했는데,,, ㅠ

마침 동생네 가족이 합류한다고 하였고, 그들의 신혼 여행이 파리였던지라, 파리는 제외하기로 하였다. 그 사이 런던과 파리 사이의 해저 터널이 침수로 운행 중단이라는 뉴스가 떴다.

섬나라 런던과 맞닿은 국가가 없어서, 어디를 함께 갈지 한참을 고민하였다. 런던 또는 런던 근교만 여유있게 구경할까 하다가도, 다른 분위기의 유럽 도시를 느껴보고 싶었다. 너무 오랜만이잖아. 

그리하여, 런던 대비 물가가 싸고 맛있는 음식도 많은 프라하를 함께하기로 정하였다.

ENFP로서 여행지에서의 예상 밖의 일과 새로운 일정에는 오픈 마인드지만, 준비가 부족해서 즐거움을 놓치는 것은 또 너무나 아쉽기 때문에 예약이 필요한 것과 준비물을 틈틈이 챙기기로 한다.

코로나 이후 첫 유럽 여행.

엄마가 좋아하는 손흥민 선수 경기를 보러 런던을 가기로 했다.

토트넘 경기 티켓을 공홈에서 예매하는 방법에 대한 포스팅은 많고 많지만, 

아무것도 모르는 자로서 궁금했던 것 & 하나씩 찾아가며 알아간 것 위주로 남겨본다.

나 역시 토트넘 경기를 기준 삼기 위해 경기 일정을 확인하고 비행기표를 구매하였지만 

누군가는 예매까지 성공 한 후에 비행기표를 구매하더라. 그만큼 예매가 어렵다는 거겠지. 

* 경기 일정이 변경되기도 한다는데, 예시를 보니, 그런 경우 1-2일 늦어지는 것 같다. 

나 같은 경우, 경기 일정이 도착 바로 다음 날이니,,, 앞당겨지지만은 않기를

* 페이지 중간에 있는 링크를 클릭하면 카테고리 별(상대팀에 따라 A, B, C로 나눈듯) / 구역 별 표준 가격 확인할 수 있다.

3. 멤버십 구입하기

• 1인(1표)당 1멤버십 필요
• 몇 달 전 토트넘 경기를 관람하고 온 후배가 멤버십 계정을 공유해줘서 하나만 더 구입했다. Hotspur+, Hotspur 멤버십이 있는데 Hotspur+는 Hotspur 멤버십 보다 하루 전날 티켓을 오픈해준다. 어떻게 될지 모르니 기회를 많이 가져가기로한다. 마침 후배가 구매한 멤버십도  Hotspur+
• 연말 블랙 프라이데이 또는 1월에 할인 기회가 있다는데, 3월에도 다행히 진행 중 (50% 할인 코드 OHM50) 

4. 손흥민 선수를 보기 좋은 구역 확인해놓기

• 손흥민 선수 싸인 받았다고 성덕 인증하신 분들은 212구역
• 그 외 손흥민 선수를 전반전에 잘 볼 수 있는 107, 108구역 > 후반전에 잘 볼 수 있는 122, 123,124구역 순서로 많이 추천하심 
• 104,105구역은  토트넘 벤치 옆이고 102,103구역은 몸풀기 훈련하는 곳 옆이라는데 축알못이라 그런지, 끌리지 않음
• 손흥민 선수를 가까이 보는 것보다 경기를 집중하고 싶은 경우, 높은 층이 좋다고
• 피해야할 좌석은 113, 114, 115, 116, 117구역 (상대편)

난 엄마를 위해 손흥민 선수를 보러 가는 거니까 212, 107, 108구역을 욕심내보기로 하나,,, 솔직히 어느 구역이라도 예매만 되면 다행일지도 ㅋㅋ

5. 예매 당일 1시간 전부터 대기타기

• Hotspur+ 기준, 영국 시간 월요일 10시!!! 한국 시간 저녁 7시!!! (썸머타임에는 6시!!!)

* 분명 많은 블로거분들이 한국 시간 저녁 7시라고 말해줬고 !!! 캘린더에 저장하고 알람까지 맞춰놓고 !!!  일년 가까이 기다렸는데!!! 당일 예매하러 들어갔다가 일정표 하단에 아래와 같이 적혀있는 것을 보고 " 런던 시간 오후 2시면 한국 시간 11시인가"하고 창을 닫아버림ㅋ

아직도 저 Access scheme이 먼지 모르겠다. 티켓 오픈일 일정표에도 버젓이 있는데...

아무튼, 11시이겠거니 하고 8시쯤 퇴근 길에 연습삼아 들어가봤는데 Buy Now 버튼 활성화되어있어서 아찔했다. 클릭해서 들어갔더니 대기열 타지길래, 그 사이 다들 대기하고 있어서 되려나 희망을 가져봤지만 좌석 없다는 메시지만 계속 떴다 ㅋㅋ 미련을 못버리고 밤새 새로고침 했으나 ...말잇못 ㅋ 

하여, 기껏 Hotspur+ 사놓고 Hotspur와 동일한 날 다시 시도하고 있다. 하루 전 날 기회를 주는 티케팅 시간을 어이없게 놓쳤다 ///// 멍청이 /////

*  그리고 오늘!!! 일반 멤버십 티켓 오픈날인 오늘도 6시 되기 전에 혹시?하고 Hotspur+ 멤버십으로 활성화되어있는 Buy Now로 들어갔더니 대기 26040번이다. 조금씩 줄어들더니 어느 순간 20255번에서 멈춤

첫 날 실패로 긴장감이 올라왔고, 오늘은 마지막 기회라 피시방에 왔다 ㅋㅋㅋ 피시방도 너무 오랜만이라 피시방 입장하는 걸로 또 긴장되었다ㅋㅋㅋ ///// 내 심장 괜찮겠지 /////

* 누군가 너무 일찍 들어가면 튕겨져서 다시 해야한다고, 6시 20분쯤 들어가라고 했지만, 사이트를 들락날락해도 대기 순서는 유지되는 것 같다. 이메일로 notify를 보내둬서 그런가. 아무튼, 모바일로 먼저 로그인하고 PC로 30분 후에 로그인했는데 모바일의 대기 번호를 그대로 이어가고 있다.

* 현재 한국 시간 7시35분. 대기는 7420번까지 올라왔다. 핸드폰과 컴퓨터 화면 두 개 다 켜뒀는데, 확실히 모바일보다 PC 가 빠르다. 자동 업데이트 되는 번호가 계속 200번씩 차이남 ㅎ 자동 업데이트 되기는 하지만, 종종 메인 화면 상단에서 Visit Eticketing을 클릭하거나 하단의 Buy Now를 누르면 조금 더 빠르게 업데이트된다. 0으로 가는 속도는 비슷하겠지만, 0에 도달하는 순간은 빠르게 캐치할 수 있을 듯.

* 현재 한국 시간 7시48분. 대기는 1670번. 이제 집중해서 예매하겠다. 덜덜덜
